- Exchange rate risk: where you trade in a currency other than your account currency, the final result may be affected by exchange rate movement regardless of the instrument's own performance.
- Gapping risk: a market may open at a price materially different from the previous close, so a stop loss is executed at the first available price rather than the level you set.
- Technical risk: an interruption or fault in your internet connection or the trading platform may prevent orders being sent, amended or cancelled in time.
- Regulatory risk: changes to the rules in force in the relevant markets may affect execution or its cost.
