The Palestine Capital Market Authority, together with the business faculty of the Arab American University, held a “Trading Day” on the university campus in Jenin, as part of its work to build financial and investment literacy among students and introduce them to how financial markets operate.
The Authority delegation was led by its Director General Mr Barraq Al-Nabulsi, and the event was attended by the Palestine Exchange Director General Mr Nihad Kamal and the General Manager of Global Securities Company Mr Adnan Khalaf, alongside representatives of other brokerage firms.
The programme included sessions on the state of the Palestinian financial markets, the Authority’s regulatory and supervisory role, and trading mechanisms on the Palestine Exchange. It closed with an exhibition where the participating firms presented their services and the training and career opportunities available to students.
