Privacy Policy

This privacy policy forms a legal and regulatory framework explaining how the bank or company (hereinafter “the First Party”) collects, uses, processes and protects the personal data of the client (“the Second Party”) when using the electronic trading services provided through the platform or application. By using the Service you acknowledge that you have read this policy carefully and understood its content, and you expressly agree to all practices relating to the collection, use and disclosure of data as set out in this document, in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.

Collection of personal information

The First Party collects a range of personal information from the client on registering for or using the Service. This includes, without limitation, full name, identity information, contact details such as telephone number and email address, and the financial and banking information needed to activate the trading account and carry out operations. Technical data may also be collected automatically, such as the internet protocol (IP) address, device type, operating system and browsing logs within the application, in order to improve service quality and ensure secure use. The client undertakes to provide accurate, correct and complete information, and bears full responsibility for updating it whenever any change occurs.

Use of information

The First Party uses the information collected for several purposes connected with delivering the Service efficiently and securely: creating accounts, executing trading orders, verifying identity, and preventing fraud or unlawful use. The data is also used to improve the user experience by developing and tailoring services to the client's needs, and to send important notifications relating to the account, updates or offers. Information may further be used to comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing procedures.

Sharing and disclosure of information

The First Party undertakes to keep client information confidential and not to share it with any third party except in specific and necessary cases, such as compliance with rules and laws or at the request of the competent regulatory or judicial authorities. Data may also be shared with trusted service providers working with the First Party to deliver technical or operational services, provided they adhere strictly to data protection and confidentiality standards. In certain cases information may be disclosed to protect the rights of the First Party or the client, or to prevent unlawful or fraudulent activity.

Data protection and information security

The First Party takes all appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect client data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction, using advanced security systems and encryption technologies to safeguard the integrity of the information. Nevertheless, the client acknowledges that transmission of data over the internet cannot be completely secure, and absolute protection against possible breaches cannot therefore be guaranteed. The client is also responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential, including username and password, and for not sharing them with any other party.

Cookies and similar technologies

The First Party may use cookies and similar technologies to gather information about how the client uses the Service, in order to improve performance and provide a tailored experience. These files help remember user preferences and analyse behavioural patterns within the application or website, contributing to continuous service development. The client can control cookie settings through their internet browser, although disabling them may affect some functions of the Service.

Client rights

The client has several rights in relation to their personal data, including the right to access their information and request its correction or updating where it is inaccurate, as well as the right to request its deletion or the restriction of its processing, as permitted by the applicable laws. The client may also object to certain types of processing or request the transfer of their data to another party where possible. The First Party undertakes to consider such requests and handle them seriously and within the legal and regulatory frameworks.

Data retention

The First Party retains client data for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or to comply with legal and regulatory obligations. After that period the data is deleted or destroyed securely in a way that ensures it cannot be recovered or used again, unless its retention is required by law or for legitimate purposes.

Amendments to this privacy policy

The First Party reserves the right to amend or update this policy at any time in line with legal, operational or technical changes. The client will be notified of such amendments by appropriate means, and continued use of the Service after amendments are published is deemed implied acceptance of the policy as updated. Reviewing this page periodically is therefore advised.

Governing law

This policy is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws and regulations in force in the country, and the competent judicial authorities are the point of reference should any dispute arise concerning the application or interpretation of this policy, in compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements on data protection and privacy.

Acknowledgement and consent

The client acknowledges having read this policy carefully and understood all its terms and conditions, and consents to the collection, processing and use of their personal data as set out above. The client further acknowledges responsibility for the accuracy of the information they provide and their commitment to all relevant laws and regulations.
